RSA vs AUS

RSA: 0
AUS: 10

A very bad day at the office, best sums up our match against Australia today.
We caught the Aussies on a day which they were on song and extremely clinical in our circle!

We had done all our analysis and we knew what to expect but our execution of our game plan and our decision making on and off the ball was poor and we gave them too much possession which they used effectivley.

We knew our 1st 2 games were going to be very tough, and they were... but now is where the crucial part of our tournament starts. We can still make the 5th-6th playoff match and we will be focussing all our energies into correcting our mistakes of the last 2 games and building on our strengths.

Great Britain next up on Friday!

Hard luck guys, but as you said, the first two were the worst two, but now they are over. Hopefully the next one will be your one.
Thanks for the great and regular updates.

Cronj, you made my evening watching you and Austen parading at the Opening Ceremony. Always proud of you and your achievements.

Hi Andrew
You probably wont remember me but I've known your family so well for the past 40 plus years. Wendy gave me your blog address so I've been watching and catching up with all your performances - on and off the field. Its fantastic. So nevermind the losses, keep strong and I'll be watching for the winnings. Even if those don't materialise, its the experience that counts and congrats on being there in the first place.
Best wishes
Val Mazinter
p.s. send your folks my love

Cronj you legend. Yesterday was a toughie pal - but you were playing the defending champs after all...

Luckily those Aussies dont play rugby like they play hockey or our Springboks would also be struggling against them! They set a standard and something for you guys to work towards for 2012.

Keep your head up and stay proud because you guys are holding the SA flag high buddy!!! I for one, am extremely proud of you and your achievements...You are after all an OLYMPIAN!

Rock on and best wishes for GB on Friday!
